Is good Mental Health Important??
When you get Fever, do you ignore it and continue to work? Then why do people expect you to ignore Anxiety, Depression, as if it's a feeling? Why do people ignore Mental Health? Why do people think good Mental Health is unimportant?
Mental Health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and act.
Just because we can't show what happened to us, as in the case of a physical injury, people tend to ignore Mental health. Sometimes people feel embarassed to talk about their Mental Health in public, due to the fear of being judged.
According to the society we live in, stress and anxiety are something which we take upon ourselves. Frequently we're asked questions like, why do you take so much stress, you shouldn't take stress.
But why do people never understand that it's not something which we take upon ourselves. It's the same way how you get a fever or a cold.
It shows how much people are uneducated about Mental Health and Mental Health Issues.
We need to incorporate talking about Mental Health when we're talking in a group, or when we're talking in public. We need to create awareness about how important is it to maintain a good Mental health, and how being emotionally healthy promotes Productivity and Effectiveness in the Activities that you do.
